These API Terms ("Terms") govern your use of the Faroflow AI APIs, SDKs, and related documentation ("APIs"). They apply in addition to our Customer Terms of Use.
1. Access and Credentials
- You must have valid API credentials (keys, tokens, or OAuth) to use the APIs.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. Do not share them.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your credentials.
Security Tip: Store API credentials in environment variables or secure vaults, never commit them to version control.
2. Permitted Use
You may use the APIs only to:
- Connect your applications with Faroflow AI services.
- Build features that integrate with Faroflow AI for your own internal use or for your end users (as allowed under your Order Form).
3. Restrictions
You must not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or copy the APIs.
- Use the APIs to create a competing product or service.
- Circumvent usage limits or monitoring.
- Resell, sublicense, or make the APIs available to third parties without written permission.
- Interfere with or disrupt the APIs or related systems.
- Use the APIs in violation of law, export restrictions, or our Acceptable Use Policy.
4. Usage Limits and Monitoring
- We may apply usage limits (e.g. rate limits, call volumes) to ensure fair and stable operation.
- We may monitor API usage for security, performance, and compliance purposes.
- You may not interfere with monitoring.
Rate Limits: Respect rate limits to ensure service availability for all users. Implement exponential backoff for retries.
5. Updates and Changes
- We may update or modify the APIs at any time.
- We will try to avoid breaking changes but cannot guarantee full backward compatibility.
- It is your responsibility to review API documentation and update your integrations as needed.
6. Ownership
- Farodale LTD owns all rights, title, and interest in and to the APIs and related documentation.
- You retain ownership of your applications and content, but you grant us rights needed to operate the Service as set out in the Customer Terms of Use.
7. Termination
We may suspend or revoke your access to the APIs if you:
- Breach these Terms, our Customer Terms of Use, or our Acceptable Use Policy.
- Cause harm to the Service, us, or other users.
